RAYS is in a well maintained specious land of 35 cents surrounded by paddy fields nourished by pure water and breeze. The facility is a two storied building with nearly 30,000 sft built up area with full-fledged residential facilities along with herbarium of different plants.

Counseling for Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga(Part time) and Certificate Verification will be held on 27.10.2024( Sundnesday) from 10:00 am onwards at Raparthi Rama Academy of Yogic Sciences, Bharatha matha Temple Road, Nandyal. All the registered candidates presence is mandatory with their original certificates.

(PART TIME – 1 YEAR)

I. GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. On behalf of Directorate of Admissions, Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, the Raparthi Rama Academy of Yogic Sciences RAYS, Tekke, Nandyal is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission through Rayalaseema University, into P.G. Diploma Course in Yoga (Part Time – 1 Year : Monday to Saturday 5 P.M to 7:30 P.M) for the academic year 2024-25.
2. Candidates who have already passed any degree examination recognized by any state, UGC or central University are eligible to study P.G. Diploma Course in Yoga (Part Time – 1 Year).
3. Bachelor Degrees of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.A.Litt. And B.L. from Universities other than AP should be recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
4. No age limit for admission into the course.
5. MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION IN P.G. DIPLOMA COURSE IN YOGA WILL BE IN TELUGU/ENGLISH

II. HOW TO APPLY:

Submission of filled-in applications: This official website allows you to submit application online. You can find the link below the content after reading all the information. A candidate has to pay Rs. 500/- as Registration and Application Processing Fee on or before 20.10.2024 and with late fee of Rs. 900/- on or before 23.10.2024 through account transfer and upload payment receipt , transaction ID on the online application.

The following information must be kept ready for filling in the details for online submission

1. Percentage of marks and year of Passing of Qualifying Examination.
2. Date of Birth as per SSC records.
3. Caste in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
4. PH/NCC/ NSS/SPORTS /CAP etc.
5. Study or Residence (from M.R.O) or relevant certificate for proof of local status.

Note: the above original certificates are to be submitted during the Counseling for Admission.

2. General Instructions:

1. The University/College (RAYS) reserves the right to reject the application of a candidate at any stage, if a) the application is incomplete. b) the candidate fails to satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions. c) false or incorrect information is furnished.
2. The Principal RAYS is not responsible for non-submission of application by the notified date and time for any reason whatsoever.
3. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.

III. ADMISSION INFORMATION:

1. Admission shall be based on the percentage of marks obtained in qualifying examination and reservation matrix.
2. At the time of admission candidates should produce the following original certificates in support of the qualification.

1. Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate.
2. Consolidated Marks statement of the Qualifying Examination.
3. Migration Certificate (for other Universities)
4. Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/Matriculation or equivalent Certificate).
5. Intermediate original certificate.
6. Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST/BC/EBC candidates.
7. 4 recent passport size Photos.
8. Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
9. Two sets of Photostat copies of all the above certificates.

3. General Regulations during Study of the Course:

As per the UGC guidelines all Candidates admitted into various courses of study are required to put in a minimum of 75% of class room attendance. Candidates securing a minimum of 65% to 74% attendance should pay condonation fee to continue the course. The name of a student who continuously remains absent for a period of 10 days from the date of admission without valid reason and intimation shall be removed from the rolls.

Admission Procedure:

Eligibility for admission is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Admissions will be made by the RAYS Collage as per the Rayalaseema University rules prevailing from time to time. Admissions may be made based on the marks obtained in the degree. Candidates should produce all the original certificates as per the admission memo at the time of admission. The candidate should be in good health, certified from an registered medical practitioner.

Intake strength of Students:

The total number of student intake proposed is 50 per batch. It can be varied from year to year depending on the need. Course will be conducted if minimum 50% seats are filled i.e., 25 seats.

The medium of instruction is Telugu/ English. Examinations will be held in both Telugu/English.
